Jeannette A. Vaccaro

Jeannette’s law practice focuses exclusively on representing employees in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, wrongful discharge, family medical leave, fraud, and unpaid wages.

Jeannette A. Vaccaro is a passionate and
zealous advocate, representing employees
in all facets of employment law.

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with honors, Jeannette worked in business for almost a decade before graduating magna cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She began her legal career representing employees in state and federal court in Oregon, until she returned to California in 2012.

From 2015 to 2019, Jeannette was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor reserved for the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in California. She was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers in 2021. Jeannette was also named one of the Top Women Lawyers in Northern California each of those years.

Currently, Jeannette serves on the Executive Committee of the Plaintiffs’ Employment Lawyers Association and is President-Elect of the Marin Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA). Jeannette also volunteers as a supervising attorney for the ELA Institute for Law and Policy, and is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (SFTLA), Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF), American Association of Justice (AAJ), Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA), Marin County Bar Association (MCBA), and Marin County Women Lawyers (MCWL).

Jeannette A. Vaccaro provides advice and counseling to employees regarding employment-related contracts (offer packages, severance agreements, invention assignments, etc.), leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, and other ongoing employment issues.

When she’s not practicing law, Jeannette enjoys swimming, biking, puzzling and spending time with her family.
